Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support children who may be vulnerable to underachievement. The amount received is dependent on the number of children who are known to be eligible for free school meals or have been eligible in the last six years, children who are Looked After Children, or children who have parents currently in the Armed Forces.
Not all children who receive free school meals are socially disadvantaged, and not all children that are disadvantaged have free schools meals. Pupil Premium funding is used to support any child the school has identified as being socially disadvantaged.
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding they receive and how this is used.
